In these reviews we try to evaluate the speakers in terms of performance for cost. Obviously everyone's needs will be different for example some people would need a surround decoder and speaker system while other would be happy with s simple stereo 2.1 system.
The first step in buying the right computer speakers is to think carefully about your sound requirements. Do you play games? Do you watch movies? Do have a soundcard that supports environmental audio?

Logitech Z3 2.1 stereo speakers
The Logitech Z3 is a very low cost 2.1 speaker system with surprisingly good sound. The speakers look great with real wood veneer and cast aluminium stands. Despite not having any tweeters the sound is still bright and clear with a punchy bottom end from the sub.

The YST-MS50 are computer speakers from Yamaha. A long time ago I owned a Yamaha, but it wasn’t a set of computer speakers it was a dirt bike. Noisy though it was, even if it would fit on my computer desk I wouldn’t want to sit there just listening to it.
